About Geomint

Geomint checks whether Google's AI names a Shopify store when shoppers ask about what it sells. It sends twelve real shopping questions about the store's category to Gemini, the model family behind Google's AI Overviews, and shows every answer, the brands it named, and whether the store was one of them.

Who builds it

I'm Rokas Bartašius, and I run Geomint from Kaunas, Lithuania. I build the tool, run the probes, read the answers Gemini gives about each store, and write the paid reports myself. You can find me on LinkedIn or email hello@geomint.shop.

How the audit works

  • It reads the public product catalog every Shopify store publishes, works out the main things the store sells, and writes twelve questions: ten about the category without the store's name, and two about the store by name.
  • Each question goes to Gemini through Google's API. That is the model behind AI Overviews, not a screenshot of a live AI Overview, so treat the result as a close read of what Google's AI knows about you rather than an exact copy of a search page.
  • The free audit shows the answers. The $149 report turns them into five ranked fixes, a 30-day plan and a re-audit after 30 days.

The research

In October 2026 I published what came back from running the audit on 42 independent Shopify stores, including what I left out and why: I asked Google's AI 319 shopping questions. The rest of the guides cover how to fix what the audit finds.
