Privacy Policy

Geomint ("we", "us") operates the website at geomint.shop and provides a free Generative Engine Optimization audit for Shopify stores. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Store URLs you submit. We need this to run the audit. We fetch your public Shopify /products.json feed and read product titles, vendors, types, and tags. We do not log into your store, do not access checkout data, and do not access customer data.
  • Email addresses you provide. If you join the waitlist or request a report, we store your email to contact you about Geomint. Stored via Resend; never sold or shared.
  • Anonymous usage analytics. Vercel Analytics records page views, referrers, browser type, and country — no cookies, no IP addresses retained, no cross-site tracking.
  • Audit results. Generated reports are stored on our server temporarily so you can revisit the link we share with you. They are deleted after 30 days unless you create an account.

What we don't collect

  • No customer PII (names, addresses, payment data) — we never request these.
  • No Shopify admin credentials. The audit uses public catalog data only.
  • No cross-site cookies. We don't use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.

Third-party services we use

  • Vercel — hosting and edge analytics.
  • Resend — transactional email + waitlist storage.
  • LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity) — we send your generated shopping queries (which mention your category and store name) to these providers as part of the audit. We do not send customer data, order data, or admin data.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your email or any audit reports tied to your store at any time by emailing privacy@geomint.shop. We respond within 7 days.

If you're in the EU/UK, you have additional rights under GDPR including access, rectification, restriction, and portability. Same email; same response window.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top when this changes. Material changes will be announced via email to anyone on the waitlist.
