If you want to know whether ChatGPT or Google’s AI recommends your Shopify store, there are now dozens of tools that will tell you. They differ a lot in what they check, which AI engines they cover, and price, from free to enterprise contracts.

Each tool in more detail
Geomint
Geomint reads your store’s public catalog, writes twelve questions a shopper might ask about what you sell, asks Gemini, and shows every answer word for word along with who got named instead of you. It takes about a minute and needs no signup. The paid part is a one-off written plan of what to change, for $149.
Where it falls short: it checks Gemini only, it runs once rather than tracking over time, and you can’t choose your own questions yet. If you need ongoing, multi-engine tracking, one of the tools below is a better fit. Run the free check.
Otterly.AI
The cheapest way into ongoing tracking. Lite is $29 a month ($25 billed yearly) for 15 prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot. Gemini and AI Mode cost extra as add-ons, which matters if Google is where your customers search. Standard is $189 for 100 prompts and Premium $489 for 400. Otterly pricing ↗
Peec AI
Built for marketing teams. Starter is €85 a month for 50 prompts, tracked daily, on three AI engines you choose from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, with unlimited users. Pro is €205 for 150 prompts and Advanced €425 for 350. Peec also has an AI shopping feature that can pull a product catalog from Shopify. Its pricing page doesn’t make clear which plans include it. Profound
The enterprise option. Its pricing page now shows only a 7-day free trial (50 prompts a day across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews) and a custom-priced Enterprise plan covering up to nine engines, with retail and ChatGPT Shopping tracking. Aimed at large brands and agencies rather than a small Shopify store. Profound pricing ↗
Shopify App Store apps
Several apps in the Shopify App Store offer AI visibility checks. Look closely at which engines each plan covers, because entry plans are often ChatGPT only:
- Visibly AI: Starter $79/mo for 10 prompts on ChatGPT only, refreshed every two weeks. Gemini comes with Pro at $199. App listing ↗
- BrandEcho: a free tier; $19/mo for ChatGPT only; $49/mo for four major AI engines, refreshed weekly. App listing ↗
- FoundInAI: free, then $9, $19 and $49 a month, built around an llms.txt generator plus citation checks. App listing ↗
On llms.txt features: Shopify now serves an llms.txt on every Online Store by default, and Google says it doesn’t use the file. I wouldn’t pay for an app mainly for that. Why.
How to choose
- You just want to know where you stand: do the manual check, or run Geomint’s free check. Don’t start a subscription before you’ve read the answers once.
- You want monthly tracking on a small budget: Otterly Lite, adding the Gemini add-on if Google matters to you.
- You’re a team or agency tracking several brands daily: Peec AI.
- You’re a large brand with an enterprise budget: Profound.
What none of them do
Every tool here measures. None of them gets you named. In my study of 42 Shopify stores, the brands Gemini recommended were the ones written about across many other sites, and that takes outreach, not software. Use a tool to see the gap and to check whether your work is closing it. The pillar guide covers the work itself.
